More than anything else, I was impressed by the fascinating performance of the Joker. Played by Heath Ledger, a young talented actor, who passed away before the release. All crime scenes were depicted as if they were real, like you were witnessing the event.
The whole movie is really deep and complicated. It’s not a regular good vs evil story. It’s more about tangled and multi-dimensional investigations of the people’s deepest natures. The characters also don’t know where the line is between good and evil, but they are about to find out.
After watching the movie, I stilll had a bunch of unsolved questions. So, I started my own research on Google university. The more I learned the more I realized, that this movie is even much deeper, than I thought. It’s not my habit, but I rewatched the first half of the movie.
So, each small detail and characters’ phrase MATTERS. Nothing happens without a reason. So, watch carefully! And the most important thing is that the movie has a unique atmosphere. And that definitely doesn’t leave you cold.
